Portrait

Portrait work relating to my personal work. Along the way I have been asked by many for this unique form of art. Capturing the nature of people inside the profession of railroading has been fun and challenging. A highly specialized field that can grow.

The people behind the scenes.

I wanted to focus on the crews and the jobs they did. Reenactments and photo charters are fun to shoot, however I wanted to catch the real actions of the railroaders at work; on the job and in stride. The feeling, the moments lasting seconds, that moment in time when you know just what’s going on.

Working with the Railroads

Setting a standard of safety and professionalism.  Professional relationships with the railroads has always been part of my plan. Currently I have established business relationships with Union Pacific, BNSF, and the Colorado Railroad Museum and many more.

Capturing the Moment

Have at it. I’d like to see what you do. If it is as good as your photography, it’ll be a winner.
